WHEREAS, Agriculture is one of the three priority areas of the State of Yap and holds importance for economic development and food security; and

WHEREAS, the State now has limited to no information on the production, consumption and Yap State plans for
agricultural produce and activities; and

WHEREAS, different departments, offices, agencies and personnel in the Administration would be involved in gathering information, analysis of the results, developing recommended options and formulating a presentation to heads of all branches of the State of Yap government and the Yap Congressional Delegation; now, therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Eleventh Legislature of the State of Yap, Fourth Regular Session, 2026, that this Legislature hereby respectfully requests the Governor to direct relevant and appropriate departments, offices, agencies and personnel to present report on Yap State local agricultural produce and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Governor of the State of Yap all Cabinet Members, the Yap Congressional Delegation the Chairman of the Council of Pilung and the Chairman of the Council of Tamol.
