BE IT RESOLVED by the Eleventh Legislature of the State of Yap, Fourth Regular Session, 2026 that the
Legislature hereby approves $14,592,880, subject to Yap State appropriation law, the Yap State Fiscal Year 2027
recommended budget estimates for funding under the 2023 Amended Compact for submission to the President of the Federated States of Micronesia to transmit to the United States for review and approval; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the $14,592,880 breakdown by
sources are as follows:

1. Education sector ……….. $ 7,345,598,
2. Health Sector ………….. $ 6,369,540,
3. Private Sector …………. $ 122,656,
4. Environment Sector ……… $ 27,579,
5. Public Sector ………….. $ 285,183,
6. Enhanced Rep.& Accty ……. $ 442,323;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Governor shall timely inform the Legislature of the 2023 Amended Compact sector grant awards for funding the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget, and to provide all pertinent information such as specific changes made by the United States to the budget details as recommended by the Legislature, and any condition which the United States may have imposed on any planned uses of the grants awarded for Yap State; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature endorses and approves the Yap State Project Management Office
operation budget of $723,219 for Fiscal Year 2027, subject to Congressional appropriation; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Legislature endorses and approves the $350,105 request for Terminal Warehouse Phase 2 Renovation Project from Yap State’s share of the Infrastructure Maintenance Fund in the 3 Amended Compact, subject to Congressional appropriation; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Resolution be transmitted to the Governor, the President of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Speaker of the Congress of the Federated States of Micronesia, the Chairman of the Yap Congressional Delegation, the Director of the Office of Planning and Budget, the Director of the Office of Administrative Services, the Chief of Budget, the Director of Public Works and Transportation, the Chairman of the Council of Pilung and the Chairman of the Council of Tamol.
