About this Bill
The Coastal Fisheries Protection Bill would set new rules for commercial fishing in the coastal waters of Chuuk State. It aims to protect our reefs, keep fish populations healthy for future generations, and support families who depend on fishing for food and income. The Bill would also introduce a licensing system for commercial fishing operators.
