Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Yap.

Section 1

The Title of Yap State Law No. 11-89 is hereby amended to read as follows:

“To appropriate the sum of $413,035 from the Special Revenue Fund of the State of Yap for the purpose of appropriating U.S. Federal grant funds awarded for Department of Health Services operations and programs during Fiscal Year 2025, and for other purposes.”

Section 2

Section 1 of Yap State Law No. 11-89 is hereby amended to read as follows:

“Section 1. The sum of $413,035, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Special Revenue Fund of the State of Yap for the purpose of providing funding to fund Department of Health Services operation and programs during Fiscal Year 2025. The sum appropriated shall be deemed from United States Federal Grants awarded for health programs as follows:

(1) FY2024 Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) … $81,880; (Grant No. B08T1087046-01/1 and B08T1087046-01 REVISED, expiring September 30, 2025)

(2) FY2024 Maternal and Child Health … $54,982; (Grant No. 1B04MC52922-01-00/01/02/03, expiring September 30, 2025)

(3) FY2024 Immunization and Vaccine for Children … $103,122(Grant No. NH23IP922593-05-05, expiring June 30, 2025)

(4) FY2025 Community Mental Health Services (CMHS) … $45,050; (Grant No. 1 B09SM089632-01/01 REVISED, expiring September 30, 2025)

(5) FY2025 Family Planning … $34,704 (Grant No. 5FPHPA006546-03-00 and 6FPHPA006546-03-01, expiring March 31, 2025)

(6) FY2025 SPF-PFS: Yap … $26,000(Grant No. 5H79SP083696, expiring September 29, 2025)

(7) FY2024 Comprehensive Cancer Control Program … $67,297; (Grant No. 5 NU58DP007171-03-00, expiring June 29, 2025)”

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the Governor, or upon its becoming law without such approval.
