Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Yap.
Section 1
The Title of Yap State Law No. 11-101, as amended by Yap State Law No. 11-122, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
“To appropriate the sum of $1,293,556 from the Special Revenue Fund of the State of Yap for the purpose of appropriating U.S. Federal grant funds awarded for a public health program and Waab Community Health Center with the Department of Health Services during Fiscal Year 2025, and for other purposes.”
Section 2
Section 1 of Yap State Law No. 11-101 is hereby amended to read as follows:
“Section 1. The sum of $1,293,556, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the Special Revenue Fund of the State of Yap for the purpose of providing funding to fund a public health program and Waab Community Health Center with the Department of Health Services during Fiscal Year 2025. The sum appropriated shall be deemed from United States Federal Grants awarded for health programs as follow:
(1) Waab Community Health Center Operation Program ……. $ 1,277,556; and
(Grant No. 5 H8-CS56653-20-00/04, expiring on December 31, 2025)
(2) FY2025 OPIOD Rubsponse (SOR) Program …… $ 16,000.
(Grant No. 1H79TI087919-01 NU52PS910242-02-01, expiring on September 30, 2025)”
Section 3
This Act shall take effect upon its approval by the Governor, or upon its becoming law without such approval.
