About this Bill
The Waste Management and Recycling Bill would create a state-wide plan to manage household and business waste. The Bill covers rubbish collection, safe disposal, and the start of a recycling program for bottles, cans, and scrap metal. It would also introduce small fines for dumping waste in public places.
