Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Yap.

Section 1

Section 3 of Yap State Law No. 11-31 is

hereby amended to read as follows:

“Section 3. Allotee and Lapse Date. The sum

appropriated shall be allotted to the Governor who shall be responsible

for ensuring these funds are used only for the purposes specified in Section 1

and in accordance to the requirements in Section 2 and that no obligations are

incurred in excess of the sum appropriated. The sum appropriated by this Act shall be

administered in accordance with the provisions of applicable law, including, but not limited to,

the State Financial Management Act of 1983, as amended. The authority to obligate the funds

appropriated by this Act shall lapse on December 29, 2025. Any part of this appropriation not

obligated as of December 29, 2025 shall revert to the General Fund of the State of Yap.”

Section 2

This Act shall become law upon the

approval by

the Governor, or upon its becoming law

without such approval.
