Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Yap.

Section 1

The Title of Yap State Law No. 11-63 is hereby further amended to read as follows:

“To appropriate the sum of $27,443 from the General Fund of the State of Yap for the purpose of providing funding to fund state funeral expenses, and for other purposes.”

Section 2

Section 1 of Yap State Law No. 11-63 is hereby further amended to read as follows:

“Section 1. The sum of $27,443, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the State of Yap for the purpose of providing funding to fund the state funeral expenses during Fiscal Year 2025. The sum appropriated may include, but is not limited to, repatriation of remains and associated travel.”

Section 3

This Act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor, or upon its becoming law without such approval.
